No Pain, No Gain
It would be great if we didn’t have to deal with any pain, bad breaks, heartaches and betrayals. But that’s not reality. Difficulties will come. We just have to keep the right perspective: there is purpose in your pain. Every painful season is developing something in you that can only be developed during the tough times. You won’t become all you were meant to be if there are no difficult times to develop you. Every time someone did you wrong, you gained insight. Every time you thought you failed, you gained experience. Every challenge made you grow stronger. God knows what you need and when you need it. Remember that if God allowed it, He knows how to bring good out of it.
While it’s so easy to become discouraged in these tough times, we must stay strong and keep a good attitude. Know that you are growing and getting closer to your destiny. The trouble can be considered transportation, propelling you to a better place in your life. It’s all part of God’s master plan. Count it all joy, knowing that this pain is going to lead to your gain.
Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. James 1:2-3
